While travelling to Europe may sound like a life long dream, think about the beautiful cities and mountains you could be visiting. The the theme parks, the food, the malls and so much more to look forward to. You must be super excited one you have finally purchased your ticket to Europe and even more excited when the day to travel to Europe has finally come. However before you think of all the places you want to tick off your bucket list, be sure to make a list of all the important essentials you should carry along with you on your trip.
Clothing
Everyone knows that clothes are the main thing you will have to bring for travelling as we need to change our clothes a lot, we would want good pictures, be presentable around strangers, make us feel comfortable and definitely for emergencies. Sometimes our clothes can get dirty during travelling and if you have extra, it would be nice and you would not have to worry.
Also if your body could not stand cold weather in certain places, or generally your hotel room, at least there is something that can keep you warm. The types of clothes that you can bring are to-go-out outfits which are mostly jeans, blouses and shirts. Another important clothing item is your pyjamas or maybe some comfortable shirts and shorts.
Not to forget a few sweaters or jumpers for cold weather, be sure to check what is your destination. Or else this will only add unnecessary weight to your baggage. Last but not least, your swimming suit. Usually, the hotels and places we are going to have beautiful swimming pools or beaches, why not go and relax our mind with some time of swimming. What we can do is categorise your clothes before putting in the baggage, just to check and be really thoughtful about.
Food
Food is unquestionably important for travelling. It can be any food, it can be junk foods like chips, milk and cereals, bread, cookies and some groceries like fruits, vegetables and maybe pasta. Why is this important? It can be divided into two categories, while travelling and when you are on vacation. While travelling, you might be driving or going on a plane. If you take the plane, sometimes you would have to wait for departure, and it can take too long. This is when the snacks can help you.
Another one is that usually, the snacks on the plane are very expensive and not worth the price, so I think it is better to have snacks in your hand-carry where you can just grab them if you want it. It is more important to have snacks while you are driving. Usually, for a long period, the passengers in the car would sleep and leave the driver to drive alone, that person can get bored and sleepy, sometimes these reasons cause accidents. Having snacks while driving helps the driver to stay alert and making sure everyone is safe throughout the whole ride. Another category is when you are on vacation.
Purchasing a breakfast buffet for everyone can be really expensive and unnecessary, especially for kids. Apart from that, you might get hungry while you are in the room or maybe after swimming or waiting for dinner. Lastly, certain hotels provide kitchen appliances for their rooms where their customers can cook instead of having food outside especially during this global pandemic. You can bring or use any groceries you have brought and cook in the room. But not worry if you do not have groceries, you can always call any grocery delivery Malaysia.
Toiletries
Most of the hotels will provide this for you. Especially, if you go for the good ones. But it is not a lot and enough to be used by everyone. Therefore, people would suggest for you to bring your own. Toiletries include personal care like undergarments, your own desired shampoo, body and facial wash. But let’s say you did not bring any, and what the hotel provides you is still not enough, you can always head to their convenience store in their lobby.
Now that you have a rough idea of must haves while travelling, do not forget to have fun and be sure to not be stressed out if one of the essentials is not enough because you have to remember back that you are on your vacation to be happy, enjoy and appreciate the beauty of nature you have around you, and remember to be safe and practise social distancing.
