As of current, in 2021, the majority of the world is still battling this deadly virus called Coronavirus. What’s worse is that most of us are starting to not be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel. But hey, we have to still keep somewhat of a spirit positive, right? It’s enough that most news is already so upsetting, we should be able to keep ourselves realistically positive. And I say “realistically” because it’s almost impossible for this pandemic to blow over in the span of a few days. However, with everyone’s cooperation, it’s possible for us to get over this hurdle in a few more months hopefully. Remember to keep a safe distance from strangers and always be aware of your health.
So, let’s take our minds off of it and try to think about the things we can do after the pandemic is over. I repeat after it is over. Try not to go anywhere and risk another outbreak for the time being. Back to the topic, since we have been, and still are, staying in our homes and only going out for essentials, consider visiting another country. Maybe somewhere you’ve longed to go to. Save up some money over the pandemic and live your life after it has blown over. If you have no idea where to visit, here are some locations that might pique your interest:
France
Home to the city of love itself, France is an amazing country in Europe to visit. With Paris as the capital of the beautiful country, people love visiting France for the beautiful sceneries as well as everything else beautiful about it. The food there is amazing, the language is so beautiful and it just oozes with love, and don’t even get me started on the culture.
Plus, it’s not just Paris that has all these beautiful things. You have Bordeaux, Strasbourg, Mont Saint-Michel, Cannes and many more locations where you can have a good time. So if this is where you want to visit, take the time to pick up a little French, even just the basics, and enjoy your time there. Meilleurs Voeux!
South Korea
The land of pretty people, great music and great dramas too! But that’s not the only thing interesting within South Korea. The many different islands and tourist spots are to die for, to be honest. And we’re not just talking about Seoul. There’s Gangnam, Busan, Jeonju, Jeju Island (or Jeju-do) and many more.
Also, visiting South Korea is a bonus for people who love spicy food, theirs is one of the best! This consists of their famous spicy ramen, spicy fried chicken, kimchi, topokki (spicy rice cakes) and a lot more! For those who do not eat spicy food, don’t fret, they’ve got you covered too. Canada
There’s a rumour that their money smells like maple, need I say more? Just kidding, I’ll say more. Home to some of the most beautiful locations, Canada is a great country to visit if you’re the type of person who just wants to relax and enjoy the scenery or explore at your own time, to wind down. One location that might take your breath away is the one and only, Niagara Falls. Just a one-hour drive from Toronto can bring you to this beauty of nature where you can admire a 57-metre waterfall. Just be careful not to fall.
Also, if you’re up for a challenge and you love french fries, visit Quebec. The home of the infamous dish called, poutine. Poutine is a dish mainly consisting of french fries topped with cheese curds and gravy, typically also topped with various meats. Due to it being a very filling meal, some restaurants in Quebec have even made it a challenge where if you can finish a whole tray of poutine within a set amount of time, you get to walk out without paying, although, no one has ever won. Plus, if you’re a stoner, you could blaze it in Canada legally. So get your supply and blaze it up without a worry while you’re there.
