Being in a relationship is tough right? But it is worth it when you are with someone you love. However, of course after months or even years of dating, you will run out of ideas for date spots. The typical restaurant and cinema dates can be very boring and tiring after doing it repeatedly. You must want something new and exciting for your relationship right? Don’t worry, we got you covered! There are tons of dating spots that you can try throughout Malaysia but here is a list of famous dating spots in Kuala Lumpur. If you have not brought your partner here, then take a look at the list and let’s start travelling!
1. Petrosains
First in our list is everyone’s classical childhood favourite, Petrosains! It is very common for any Malaysian kids during middle school to come here during their school trips. However, experiences you feel during childhood and adulthood are different. Petrosains can be really fun and interesting when you actually understand it and come with the person you loved. You can experience a lot of fun scientific games and machines here! And it is only for RM18.50 per person! Petrosains is open around 9.30am until 4.00 pm on Tuesday until Friday, while it is open around 9.30am until 5.00pm on weekends! It is closed on Monday though!
2. Aquaria KLCC
If you think Petrosains is too “brainy” for you, then you can visit Aquaria KLCC! It is located under Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre and was opened in 2005. As the name suggests, Aquaria KLCC is technically an aquarium. To be precise, it is an oceanarium. You can have a romantic stroll in here while looking at countless types of sealives. The place is really beautiful and insta-worthy! You can have a peaceful walk while holding your partner’s hand and further discussing the interesting creatures you can see. What can be more romantic than that? It is open from 10am until 7pm everyday! The ticket can be pricey as it is RM65 for adults, RM56 for kids. But hey, it is definitely worth it!
3. Kuala Lumpur Bird Park
If you do not like fish, why not go bird-watching? Since 1991, Kuala Lumpur has actually had a bird park! It is located near Bukit Aman and Lake Gardens. There are nearly 200 species and 3000 birds in total! That is a lot! Most of the birds are from Malaysia but 10% of the birds are imported from other countries! Do not worry, you would not be only watching birds here in the bird park! There are also bird shows, eagle feeding, ostrich feeding and many more! Most importantly, the place does not smell! Do not worry, it is definitely a fun dating spot! The ticket price is RM25 for those who own mykad.
4. Kuala Lumpur Upside Down House
If you like to go to a museum, then we recommend Kuala Lumpur Upside Down House! The museum is literally just like its name, it is a museum of a house that is upside down. This museum is located near KL Tower. The museum is inspired by a cottage house in its structure. Not only is the house upside down, the furniture in the house is also upside down! Beware it might be a little bit confusing but hey, it is fun and unique! Most importantly, it is insta-worthy! You can take tons of pictures with your partner here. It’s time for you to update that instagram feed of yours. The ticket is affordable as it is only RM19 for adults. The museum is also open from 9am until 7pm daily! Get yourself ready, because this museum is gonna be a little bit trippy.
5. Museum of Illusions
If you want something more trippy than the upside down house, then you are very welcomed to visit the Museum of Illusions in Kuala Lumpur! You do not have to worry, the museum does not involve any witchcraft or magic. It is perfectly safe! This museum revolves around optical illusions as it is filled with illustrations that can cause illusions! Various types of illusions are prepared specially for you! They have an Infinity Room, Mirror Room, Vortex Tunnel and many more illusions based attractions! The museum is open everyday from 10am until 10pm! It is also very instagramable so you can take all those insta-worthy pictures while in it. The tickets start for RM35 for adults who have mykad, RM45 for those who do not have mykad. But please be careful, better to go in sober or it will be very trippy for you!
